Founded in 1954 with the initiative of Rev James Payne Alter, a Presbyterian Missionary from U.S.A., our centre has grown significantly over the years and continues to serve the community and society at large.
Nestled in the serene landscapes of Dehradun, our picturesque property with well-maintained lawns and gardens has a rich history, having previously been a glass factory during the British rule and later owned by Tom Alter's parents. The on-site old prayer chapel offers a historic and tranquil space for reflection and prayer.

We advise participants to carry their own towels and toiletries for their own hygienic safety. Meals/tea will neither be served in the rooms nor can participants carry meals to the rooms, including faculty members.
